On Tuesday, March 12, Alexis was involved in a head-on collision with a tractor trailer. 
 

She sustained a traumatic brain injury, several broken ribs, a torn carotid artery, broken legs, shattered ankle, and other various injuries.  Currently on life-support in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at the VCU Medical Center, Alexis has a long road in front of her.

  

Alexis is the most selfless and caring person anyone has ever met. She is the
best sister, daughter, significant other and friend, and has always been there to take care
and support in anyones endeavors. 

 

Alexis is one of the strongest people many are fortunate to know we fully stand behind her road to recovery. She can and she will.
